Media Advisory/Photo Opportunity: New report to launch tomorrow at Canadian Solar on need for Ontario’s continued investment in renewable energy

Guelph, ON – Tomorrow Environmental Defence will be at Canadian Solar in Guelph for the launch of a new report: Getting FIT: How Ontario Became a Green Energy Leader and Why It Needs to Stay the Course.

Ontario’s support for renewable energy created thousands of jobs and attracted new companies, including Canadian Solar, to the province. A new poll in the report shows green energy remains popular with communities across Ontario. The report calls for Ontario to continue its investment in renewable energy and clean technology.

Media are invited to attend the report launch, which will include photo opportunities and a tour of Canadian Solar’s manufacturing facility for solar modules.
