A new study released by the Environmental Working Group sheds some light where there shouldn’t be any need for it – on the hazards of sunscreen. The study found that as many as 84 percent of the over 700 brand-name sunscreens tested may not provide adequate protection, or contain chemicals that may cause adverse health effects.
They have released a database showing which sunscreens are good at protecting you from the sun while not causing you any harm in the process, and which are not.
Check out their lists of the best and worst sunscreens to learn which sunscreen is right for you, or read the summary of their findings.
