Another report has been released, this time by a US expert panel of the US National Toxicology Program (NTP), which notes the possible adverse impacts of bisphenol A (BPA) exposure to fetuses and children. BPA is a hormone disruptor that has been found to be associated with a variety of health problems in over 130 peer-reviewed studies.
The negative health impacts specifically discussed in this report are regarding behaviour and the nervous system. Concern is growing because of the increase in evidence showing that BPA can cause adverse effects at low-exposure.
